Prince George is in for a brighter Tuesday (Dec. 22) hours after the winter solstice.
Environment Canada is calling for sunny skies in the northern capital today, but it'll also still be a cold day with a high of -3 C.
Winds are expected to gust at 15 km/h, dropping the temperature to -11 C in the morning.
Those could continue into the evening while also bringing in some clouds.
It'll feel like -13 C with the chill overnight.
