December is off to a good start weather-wise in Prince George.

Today (Dec. 2), Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud in the morning, but winds gusting up to 40 km/h will push those clouds away for sunnier skies by lunchtime.

However, the temperature will feel like -13 C in the afternoon.

Nightly conditions will also be cold and clear before the clouds return for Thursday morning (Dec. 3).

The low is expected to drop to -3 C, but will feel like -7 C.
