Looks like Prince George is in for a wet, rainy day.

Environment Canada says today (Sept. 23) will see showers in the morning and an increased risk of thunderstorms late in the afternoon.

Winds will also gust in at 50 km/h, continuing into the evening.

By then, skies will be mainly cloudy and the chances of rain will be reduced to a 60 per cent chance.

Temperatures could reach a high of 12 C and drop to a low of 7 C overnight.
