Rise and shine, Prince George!

We may have to endure some droopy settings before getting to what a summer weekend should look like.

Environment Canada says today (Aug. 15) will start with clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers.

However, skies should clear up before lunch, working up the thermometer back up into the 20s.

There may also be some humidity in the forecast, which could make the high of 23 C feel like 26 C.

The same clearing conditions will stick around by bedtime.

Overnight temperatures could drop to a low of 9 C.
