The Victoria Day long weekend may be off to a rocky start weather-wise.
Environment Canada is forecasting Prince George to have an up-and-down Friday (May 15), which includes a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon.
There's also a risk of a thunderstorm during the same time leading into the early evening, then turning into partly cloudy skies by bedtime.
It won't be all doom-and-gloom in the northern capital.
Friday is expected to have a mix of sun and cloud to start along with some 20 km/h winds.
The high is an expected 17 C, while the overnight low drops to 6 C.
