It appears the sun will be starting its weekend break a little bit early.
According to Environment Canada, Prince George is likely to get a lot of showers today (April 17) coupled with winds gusting up to 40 km/h in the afternoon.
Once we eclipse our high of 7 C, skies are expected to clear up in the evening.
The winds, however, should stick around late into the night.
This will drop the temperature to a polar-opposite -7 C.
