If you plan on spending B.C. Family Day with your loved ones, be sure to give them a big, warm hug.

Prince George residents will likely need some warming up as Mother Nature is sending in a cold embrace of clouds and wind in today's (Feb. 17) forecast.

According to Environment Canada, skies will be mainly cloudy and bringing in winds at 20 km/h for the morning and afternoon.

This will drop the highest temperature from -3 C to -7 C.

It'll be the same conditions for the evening, but it'll be more clear overnight with a -17 C wind chill.
