Rise and shine, Prince George!

Frostbite is still a possibility if you're outside for too long

For the first time in almost a week, Prince George is starting a day without any warnings or alerts in effect for the city.

Environment Canada is reporting a mild, cloudy Friday (Jan. 17), but the sun will make a brief appearance in the morning before getting into the colder conditions.

Winds up to 15 km/h will swoop in to make it feel like -35 C to start and then -30 C in the afternoon, causing more frostbite risk.

It'll get cloudier overnight with winds increasing to 20 km/h.

The daily high is an expected -22 C, while the low will drop to -38 C.
