You've been warned, Prince George.
The deep freeze weather has been unleashed, according to Environment Canada, with winds blowing north at 20 to 40 km/h throughout today (Jan. 11) and potential causing frostbite if you're outside for a long time.
The high could reach -19 C, but with the wind chill, it'll feel like -28 C.
Friday's (Jan. 10) snowfall is continuing on as well with up to five centimetres expected before clearing in the afternoon.
Fortunately, Prince George's snowfall warning ended before 6:30 p.m. yesterday.
By night time, we'll see clear skies, still with 20 km/h winds and dropping the mercury to -28 C.
Find a bed with lots of layers too because with the wind chill, it'll feel like -38 C.
