Happy New Year's Eve!
Be careful out there as you enjoy the last day of the decade because today’s weather is a perfect storm for slippery roads. It will be cloudy with periods of rain beginning in the morning then changing to periods of snow mixed with rain in the afternoon.
We will also get about 2 cm of snow with the temperature falling to 0 C in the afternoon; tonight, there will be periods of snow or rain and a low of 0 C.
Prince George is also under a snowfall warning. The weather statement was issued yesterday morning (Dec. 30).
Environment Canada said a storm tracking across the central Interior of British Columbia would bring heavy snow to McGregor and eastern sections of the Prince George region.
