The good news is, it's Friday (Nov. 8) and the freezing rain is over for now.

The bad news... it's still going to rain.

Environment Canada is calling for periods of showers all day long coupled with afternoon winds at 20 km/h.

The rain is likely to taper off after midnight into the early hours of Saturday (Nov. 9), reducing to just a 40 per cent chance with clouds.

Temperatures will reach as high as 7 C, while the low will drop to 5 C.

As of this publication, a winter storm warning remains in effect for the Pine Pass north of Prince George.
