The sunshine is going to taper off for the next little bit in Prince George.

Today's (May 14) forecast is calling for cloudy skies and a 40 per cent chance of showers along the morning commute, according to Environment Canada.

The agency adds there'll be showers to begin the afternoon along with a 20 km/h northeast wind.

Temperatures will reach as high as 12 C after spending almost a week with 20+ C weather.

Tonight's low will dip to 7 C thanks to showers ending at midnight and more wind.
