The first day of May is looking a bit soggy.

According to Environment Canada, Prince George will see cloudy skies and a 60 per cent chance of rain showers or wet flurries this morning.

This will be met in the afternoon with southwest winds at 20 km/h.

Those winds will become lighter in the evening, but there's also a 60 per cent chance of showers by bedtime.

Today's high is expected to be 8 C, while the overnight low will dip to 1 C.
