Thursday, Jan. 17th could bring out a brighter side of the Prince George sky.

Environment Canada is predicting the sun to breakthrough the clouds in the morning with up to 20km/h winds expected to blow them away before lunch.

Temperatures could fall as low as -18 C with the wind-chill.

The national agency is also forecasting a 40% chance of flurries by the evening; winds will die down to 15km/h as well.

The overnight low is expected to dip to -9 C, but with windchill, it could feel like -16 C.
