There’s a Ring of Fire at Goodsir Nature Park right now.

The Ring of Fire is created by Pink Spirea, a member of the rose family that grows up to four feet tall and is fat and bushy.

Right now the plant is in full bloom and surrounds Little Goodsir Lake.

“This is the best, or one of the best, displays I have ever seen here and I’ve been living on this land for the last 35 years and this is such a brilliant sighting of Pink Spirea,” Jim Good, owner/operator of the park, said.

People are welcome to visit the nature park on Summit Lake Road to see the beautiful natural display. But hurry as with all blooms it will soon come to an end.

For more information on the park and how to get there visit Goodsir Nature Park's website.
