Revamped PG Metis housing board moving forward

The troubled Prince George Metis Housing Society has a new executive director, and it expanded its board of directors to seven people during its first annual general meeting since sweeping changes were made last year.

The troubled Prince George Metis Housing Society has a new executive director, and it expanded its board of directors to seven people during its first annual general meeting since sweeping changes were made last year.

The meeting, which was opened to the public as well as housing society members, was meant to set a new tone for the society, one of openness and transparency, Barb Ward-Burkitt, who headed the interim board, told the Monday evening meeting of two dozen people.
