A group of former graduates of Mackenzie secondary school have issued an invitation to all grads from 1980 to 1989 to gather in the town that was carved out of the forest almost 45 years ago.

A group of former graduates of Mackenzie secondary school have issued an invitation to all grads from 1980 to 1989 to gather in the town that was carved out of the forest almost 45 years ago.

As former residents, the organizing group is alertly aware of the community's struggle with mill closures, failing lumber and pulp markets along with mountain pine beetle devastation.
