Both the owners of Rockin's River Resort and Fraser-Fort George Regional District (FFGRD) officials are hopeful work will soon begin on shoring up their property before the Salmon River sweeps much more of it away.
Resort co-owner Robyn Stoy said Thursday afternoon an engineer came by around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and completed an assessment that was sent to the provincial emergency program in Victoria the next morning.
