While on site at the Quesnel court house, RCMP members intervened during a wrangle between a Quesnel news reporter and David Raymond Couture who was to attend court on a different matter.
The altercation in front of the Billy Barker Hotel Tuesday morning resulted in Couture being charged with assault and is in custody pending his next court appearance June 15.
