Replica grenades culprit in airport closure

Cpl. Craig Douglass, RCMP spokesman, holds the replica grenades that were spotted in luggage at the airport. The replica grenades are believed to be marijuana grinders. The man in possession of the grinders was detained and since been released.

Cpl. Craig Douglass, RCMP spokesman, holds the replica grenades that were spotted in luggage at the airport. The replica grenades are believed to be marijuana grinders. The man in possession of the grinders was detained and since been released.

The Prince George Airport was shut down as a result of the discovery and has since been reopened after RCMP, fire and ambulance were called to the scene.

Flights are experiencing slight delays between 10 and 30 minutes.
