A 19-year-old man is again in custody after being released Monday following 19 days in jail.

Chad Murphy George has been charged with break and enter. Prince George RCMP said it arrested George Wednesday after responding to a report of a break and enter in progress

at a Foster Road home in the Charella Gardens area.

At around 2:45 p.m. officers went to the area and found and arrested the suspect - George - on Ospika Boulevard without problem.

Police say George was found with a pair of shoes stolen from the Foster Road residence.

Just two days before, on Monday, George was released after he was sentenced for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breach of probation and given credit for jail time served.

Prince George RCMP have classified George as a prolific offender, described as "a person that has been identified by police and community partners as a high risk to reoffend and has shown a pattern of consistent police contact."

George was held in custody overnight and was scheduled to make his first appearance in court Thursday.

In September, George was again sentenced to time served and one year probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for mischief $5,000 or under. George had spent 17 days in custody following his arrest.
