Monday will mark exactly 30 years to the day since Terry Fox set off to walk across Canada to raise money for cancer research.
Today he is recognized world wide and more than $500 million has been raised in his name. The Terry Fox Foundation in asking supporters to commemorate April 12 in their own way to remember the young man from Richmond. They are also asking people to contact their office to tell how Terry has touched their life through his marathon, annual runs or cancer, or by meeting him or watching him train.
