The Relay for Life is about bringing the community together to support and celebrate those who have fought or are fighting the brave battle with cancer. The 24 hour event begins 10 a.m. on May 8 at Masich Place Stadium and is meant for the entire family.

Jennifer Hammond and Selen Alpay, co-chairs for the Survivors Development, are involved with the survivors' tent for the relay. The tent is meant to "recognize and celebrate survivors and their caregivers," said Hammond.
