The 20th annual Relay for Life concluded on Sunday morning, having raised approximately $420,000 -up approximately $90,000 from last year's event.
Over 1,600 participants from more than 140 teams signed up to walk, jog and run in the 24-hour event at Masich Place Stadium -including 17 participants who signed up to walk for the full 24-hours.
The Relay for Life is the Canadian Cancer Society's largest fundraiser and the Prince George event is the only 24-hour relay in the country.
The event kicked off Saturday at 10 a.m. with a victory lap by cancer survivors and at midnight a candlelit luminary ceremony honoured those who lost the battle with the disease.
