The Fraser-Fort George Regional District (FFGRD) stands to gain in the neighbourhood of $2.6 million a year if a campaign tease additional cash out of B.C. Hydro proves successful.

FFGRD directors agreed Thursday to support an effort launched by the Kitimat-Stikine Regional District (KSRD) seeking to expand the Crown corporation's obligation beyond providing grants-in-lieu of taxes for generating facilities to including power transmission and distribution lines.
