Real estate market down in July

Single-family homes sold for an average $211,542 each in northern B.C. last month, according to the B.C. Real Estate Association, a $1,089 decrease from the month before. Unit sales also took a hit as 339 homes exchanged hands, down from 405 in June.

Unit sales also took a hit as 339 homes exchanged hands, down from 405 in June. As a result, the dollar volume added up to $71.7 million, compared to $86.1 million in June.
