Another big box company is requiring all customers to wear masks inside its stores.
Real Canadian Superstore announced this morning (Aug. 22) that as of next Saturday (Aug. 29) masks and face coverings will be mandatory at all of the companies locations, including Prince George.
'We appreciate your support as we work together to stop the spread of COVID-19," a social media post reads.
Walmart had also announced on Aug. 6 that face masks and face coverings would be required in its stores as of Aug. 12.
"Customers have done a great job following face-covering requirements in those jurisdictions where it is mandated by the local government," she states in an email to Glacier Media.
"We trust that customers in the rest of our stores where we are initiating this the policy will respect and follow it and will bring their own face coverings when they shop."
