RCMP searching for break-and-enter suspect

Man stole items from Tenth Avenue building late Monday night or early Tuesday morning

Prince George RCMP are appealing to the public to help them find a break-and-enter suspect who stole items from a downtown office building Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the building in the 2100 block of 10th Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday , where a surveillance camera had photographed a man inside who had broken open several doors to steal computers, medical equipment and more than $1,500 in cash.

The break-in occurred between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect is a man between 30 and 40 years old. He stands about five-foot-nine and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. He had a bicycle and was wearing a red and white helmet with a blue raincoat with white stripes on the sleeves. He was also wearing gray gloves, sweatpants, blue and white sneakers, and blue and white bandana and had a green headlamp.
