RCMP request help identifying suspect

RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a shoplifter from a local retail business in Prince George.

On Sept. 15 at approximately 9 p.m., RCMP received a report of a shoplifter from a beer and wine store located on the 400 block of Carney Street in Prince George.

A male suspect was trapped between the two exit doors by an employee. The man smashed a window and a bottle of liquor before escaping through an unlocked door. The suspect fled the area before police arrived.

The suspect can be described as a male, most likely in his 20's, with dark hair, a moustache and goatee. At the time of the theft he was wearing blue jeans, a grey T-shirt, black jacket and black cap.
