Prince George RCMP are asking for the public's help in tracking down two people suspected of stealing a security camera from an Austin Road restaurant.
Images of the the two were obtained, but because one of the suspects is believed to be under 18 years old, her face cannot be shown publicly under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
"However, the jacket of the other suspect, believed to be a male, is very distinct. It is our hope that someone will recognize the jacket and identify both suspects," RCMP said.
RCMP are also asking business owners to install surveillance cameras where they cannot be reached and in locations as horizontal as possible in order to obtain the most useable images.
The thefts occurred on Sun., Feb. 21 at about 9:15 p.m. and were reported to RCMP five days later.
