Prince George RCMP are advising the public of an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal harassment.

While a man was arrested in the case, police are also looking to determine if more victims of this suspect can be identified.

“In this instance, the suspect, whom police have identified, was not only repeatedly attending the victim’s workplace but has since identified their residence and approached the victim at that location. This type of behaviour is concerning to police officers. We are releasing a description of the suspect and his behavior in order to encourage any other potential victims to come forward with their information,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 5’7 (170 cm)
  • 154 lb (70 kg)
  • Brown hair
  • Hazel eyes

The suspect in this investigation has been arrested by police. He was later released on an undertaking with a future court date.

Police encourage anyone who has been, or believes they have been, the victim of stalking or harassment to speak with a police officer.

Police state that these types of behaviours include being repeatedly approached or followed by someone; ongoing unwanted communication; consistently and unwantedly attending a workplace, home and/or another place frequented by the victim, or engaging in threatening conduct.

Call 911 immediately if you think your, or someone else’s, safety is at risk, police advise.
