RCMP hosting cram-a-cruiser

With the help of shoppers, RCMP are hoping to "cram-a-cruiser" full of groceries on Saturday. The events runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Real Canadian Superstore on Ferry Avenue near Highway 16.

With the help of shoppers, RCMP are hoping to "cram-a-cruiser" full of groceries on Saturday.

The events runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Real Canadian Superstore on Ferry Avenue near Highway 16.

They're asking shoppers to buy an extra item or two - non-perishable, please - to help fill a police car. Gift cards are also accepted.

Donations will got to the Prince George Salvation Army in time for Thanksgiving.

A similar event in December on behalf of the Prince George Council of Seniors drew enough to fill 20 police cars.
