Ratte found guilty of second degree murder in wife's death

Denis Florian Ratte was found guilty Wednesday of second degree murder in the 1997 death of his wife Wendy Ann Twiss Ratte.

A 12-person jury came to the decision after just a few hours of deliberation at the end of a four-week trial during which they heard from 16 witnesses.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 9.
