Ranchers to descend on PG during next three days

The 83rd annual B.C. Cattlemen's Association annual general convention kicks off this evening in Prince George at the Civic Centre, where Premier Christy Clark will greet delegates.

The 83rd annual B.C. Cattlemen's Association annual general convention kicks off this evening in Prince George at the Civic Centre, where Premier Christy Clark will greet delegates.

Clark is expected to make an announcement that will keep livestock and motorists safer.

Organizers expect more than 500 people to attend the three-day convention and trade show which ends Saturday.

B.C. Agriculture Minister Don McRae will open the formal portion of the convention on Friday morning.
