So you've been given a new pair of snowshoes as a Christmas present and are wondering what to do with them.
The Caledonia Ramblers have a suggestion.
The local hiking club is hosting a snowshoeing trip to Pilot Mountain on Christmas Day.
The trip is rated easy and should take no more than three hours and cover no more than five kilometres.
Please meet at the city hall parking lot 10 minutes prior to the departure time of 11 a.m.
Membership in the club is $30 per year but newcomers are allowed three free trips before deciding whether to join.
