Yesterday's deluge of snow will be followed by some rain today as the temperature rises to slightly above freezing.
It won't be enough to wash away the 15 cm of the white stuff expected to have fallen by the end of this most-recent event but will make it "a little wet or slushy at the top," says Environment Canada meteorologist Doug Lundquist.
A high of 2 C is expected by midday.
Environment Canada issued a weather warning in anticipation of heavy snowfall striking the area.
