In a tradition that has lasted nearly 10 years, the Prince George Quilters Guild donated one of their creations to the Prince George RCMP's victim services unit this week.

"This is always a very touching meeting that we look forward to attending," the unit's co-ordinator, Krista Levar, said.

"It's inspiring to meet these caring people who selflessly contribute countless hours so that we can brighten the day of victims of crime; it's an honour to share our stories with this great group."

The quilts are used to help bring comfort to victims of crime and trauma.
