Mounties continue to roll up the marijuana in the Cariboo.
A special RCMP task force operation against marijuana grow-operations and major drug trafficking has hit pay-dirt again in the local region, this time in Quesnel.
"Approximately 90 pounds of marijuana bud and approximately 2,000 plants were seized from a Grevatt Road property located off the Nazko Highway," said Quesnel RCMP spokeswoman Const. Krista Vrolyk. "A 36-year-old male, a 58-year-old male and a 50-year-old female were arrested and face charges of production of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking."
They were arrested in a police raid on Thursday at 10 a.m. The trio has a court date scheduled in Quesnel for July 26.
