Quesnel's Gold Dust Mall Festival received $12,400 in federal arts and heritage grants on Tuesday.
Cariboo-Prince George MP Dick Harris announced the grant to support the 21st annual festival, which runs from July 19 to July 22 in downtown Quesnel.
This year's Gold Dust Mall Festival is expected to feature the work of 135 local artists, craftspeople and performers.
"Local artwork will be displayed in an outdoor venue, accompanied by performances by local musical and theatrical groups, as well as presentations by local First Nations members," Harris said in a written statement.
The federal grant is part of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program which was founded in 2007.
