A section of Queensway will close to vehicle traffic intermittently between May 12 and May 30, the city reports.
The road will be closed between 15th Avenue and 17th Avenue.
A detour will be available along Ingledew Street to bypass the construction zone.
New water service for a fire suppression system is required for a BC Housing project at 1575 Queensway.
The traffic signal at Queensway and 17th Avenue traffic signal will operate as a four-way stop during construction. The east sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.
Residents are reminded to be careful around the work zone and obey all signage.
