The hard-hit forest-based community of Mackenzie took another step Friday towards recovery as its shuttered pulp mill, down for two years, was purchased by Asian-giant Sinarmas in a $20-million deal.
The company, which made the purchase through its Netherlands-based subsidiary Paper Excellence, hopes to resume production by September.
