Proposed catchment policy worries parents

Members of the Ecole College Heights Elementary School parents advisory council plan to make their concerns known about proposed changes to the school district's catchment policy during Tuesday night's board of education meeting.

Members of the Ecole College Heights Elementary School parents advisory council plan to make their concerns known about proposed changes to the school district's catchment policy during Tuesday night's board of education meeting.

They say the proposal, if adopted, places families at risk of either not getting into their catchment school and gives no guarantee that siblings will get into the catchment school or choice school that their older siblings attend.

Trustees are to decide at their January 29 meeting whether to adopt the policy, following a consultation process.
