A woman has been sentenced to three years probation for setting a fire inside the University Hospital of Northern B.C.

Kassandra Marie Lee Burr, 22, was issued the term Tuesday in Prince George provincial court.

She was arrested on Nov. 10, 2014 after thick smoke was found coming from a bathroom near the emergency waiting room.

One of the Prince George RCMP members who were already at the hospital extinguished the fire and Burr was apprehended, RCMP said at the time.
