It's not long before someone in Prince George wins a brand new home.
In less than a week, some lucky person's name will be drawn and they'll be given the keys to a 3,135 sq. ft., home valued at $730,000 - the grand prize in the Spruce King's Show Home Lottery. The grand prize not only includes the house itself, but comes fully furnished from Theory
The draw is set for Friday, May 29 at noon, preceded by the Third Period Mega 50/50 Jackpot at 11:45 a.m. with the winner will be taking home $50,000.
Normally the draw would take place in person for those who'd wish to attend, but this year because of social distancing regulations, it is going to be broadcast through Facebook Live.
The 11,000 tickets fro the home completely sold out on May 12. All of the proceeds from the lottery support the Prince George Spruce Kings hockey club.
