A Prince George staple will be no longer.
Owner of Nicholson Billiards, Dan Hoffman, has decided to retire after more than 20 years of the business being in operation.
According to a Facebook post, he says everything must go in a liquidation sale.
"Sixty-five and it's time to retire from the Pool Hall, yup the end of an era - Nicholson Billiards will be permanently closing," he writes in the post. "Everything and we mean everything is for sale."
While the pool hall will be closed, Hoffman stresses Nicholson Billiards Repairs will still provide installations, moves, and repairs of all makes of pool tables throughout northern B.C.
Items included in liquidation included pool tables and accessors, furniture, kitchen equipment, and arcade games.
"Nicholson Billiards thanks the community of Prince George for supporting their local pool hall for the past 22 years," the post adds.
