A woman with non-life threatening injuries was transported to hospital Tuesday following a shooting on Spruce Street.
Prince Geroge RCMP said it is investigating a shooting which took place on the 2700-block of Spruce Street shortly before 4:45 a.m. on Jan 2.
Police officers attended a room at that location for a report of shots fired and found one female victim with non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services for treatment of her injuries and several other people were located uninjured in the room.
“Investigators were able to identify several suspects and a suspect vehicle from the video surveillance available and within an hour multiple suspects were arrested at a residence on the 100-block of Anderson Street,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
“Police officers will remain at that location as the investigation continues. We believe this to be a targeted shooting with no increased risk to the general public.”
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
