If you haven’t noticed, it’s snowing outside!
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning at 11:49 a.m. this morning. The government organization says a storm will track across the central Interior of British Columbia today, bringing heavy snow to McGregor and eastern sections of the Prince George region.
Snow will taper off and become mixed with rain this evening over Prince George but could last through Tuesday over McGregor. Strong southerly winds will bring local blowing snow this afternoon and early this evening.
Environment Canada also says to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
