The 2014 Scotties Tournament of Hearts BC Women's Curling Championship will be hosted by the Prince George Golf and Curling Club. The date is tentatively set for Jan. 6-12, 2014.
The top ten women's teams in BC will play for a berth into the national Scotties. The BC Championship will begin with a round-robin followed by a four-team playoff.
The 2013 champion will be the first team to return, while the second spot will be awarded to the top BC women's team on the Canadian Team Ranking System as of Dec. 1, 2013. The remaining eight berths will be declared through open playdowns.
The Prince George club hosted the Scott Tournament of Hearts national championship in 2000 and was named Club of the Year by Curl BC.
