Four bands were set to take the CN Centre stage on Canada Day this past year, but COVID-19 made an unexpected and unprecedented guest appearance.
The Saints and Sinners Tour was rescheduled for Jan. 18, 2021, in order to wait and see what health restrictions and protocols would entail for B.C. and other provinces, but with more challenges currently affecting the music industry, the concert has been moved yet again.
On Friday (Nov. 27), tour organizers announced the new date for its Prince George stop as Nov. 7, 2021 in hopes the pandemic will improve by then to host four legendary Canadian rock groups.
However, Big Wreck, who was originally set to perform, has bowed out due to ‘plans and unavoidable commitments’ and will be replaced by Sloan.
They join the Saints and Sinners line-up that includes Headstones, the Tea Party and Moist.
