Seniors in Prince George will be able to catch a ride for free on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
That’s because Oct. 1 is National Seniors Day, which also coincides with the United Nations International Day of Older Persons.
The City of Prince George and B.C. Transit are offering free transit service for seniors (65 and over) on Oct. 1 to help make it easier for seniors to get to and from their destinations.
Free transit for seniors will be available all day throughout the Prince George Transit System and service on handyDART will also be free for seniors.
